I am extremely pleased to be working with such a great company and proud of the people that are a part of my team. I love the challenges of managing this branch and the changing dynamics of the mortgage industry. These challenges and dynamics keep me focused on my mission. My own modesty prevents me from calling myself a successful businessman. Success isn't a mythical place at which you suddenly arrive; success is a never-ending challenge. I personally feel that by treating each client like a valued asset, I will be striving for success. This is the path on which I will continue to travel and it will be through this sort of leadership and example that the rest of my team will do the same. Originally from Toronto, Canada, my wife, two sons and I moved to Portland in 2003. In between, I attended Humboldt State University where I met my bride. We returned to Canada so I could pursue a career as a stock broker. We soon realized that 5 million neighbors were a bit much for us so we moved to Missoula, MT where I became a mortgage banker. I worked for a small mortgage bank for 5 years but once the children came, many of the reasons we moved to Montana (back country camping, skiing, hiking, etc.) disappeared so we packed up once again and came to Portland, where we will stay. My mission as a mortgage banking professional hasn't changed since the day I started in this business – provide superior customer service. This mission eventually led me to open North Pacific Financial, which is now powered by North Pacific Financial Corp. My focus has always been on the needs of my clients. Each and every client is equally important, and I am grateful for the trust they place in me and I appreciate their business. As the Regional Manager for North Pacific Financial, I am responsible to ensure that all of my client transactions run smoothly through the system from helping borrowers apply all the way to a timely funding of their loan.
